Dan Bartfield

Co-Founder and CEO

Dan Bartfield is the Co-Founder and CEO of Yello, a pioneering force in campus recruitment. In his role as CEO, Dan steers the company toward innovative heights, guiding strategic development, partnerships, and overseeing the execution of Yello’s sales and client success strategy. His leadership is characterized by a forward-thinking approach to analyzing and optimizing customer-facing teams within the organization, ensuring Yello scales effectively while delivering substantial benefits to its customers. Before assuming the mantle of CEO, Dan co-founded eCampusRecruiter, the largest career services software platform in the U.S., utilized by over 450 institutions.

This experience cemented his reputation as an innovator and a visionary in the field of recruitment technology. Under Dan’s leadership as CEO, Yello continues to expand its reach and impact, solidifying its position as a leader in the industry. His strategic vision for the company not only focuses on current successes but also on long-term growth and the exploration of new opportunities to revolutionize campus recruitment. Dan’s academic background, with a degree in Marketing from Miami University, complements his extensive professional experience, enabling him to drive Yello’s mission forward with unmatched expertise and passion.

Michael Megerian

Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Megerian leads the sales team and is responsible for Yello’s revenue-generation strategy and execution. He leads the Sales and Solution Consulting Teams for Yello, aligning the customers’ business initiatives with Yello’s solutions to drive value and deliver measurable results. Michael is a sales executive with 21+ years of experience building and leading sales teams in SaaS-based strategic sales, enterprise account management, and customer success experience with Yello, Oracle, Taleo, and Ariba. Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance.

Maureen Polte

Chief Product Officer

Maureen Polte is responsible for expanding Yello’s product strategy by leading the Engineering, Product Management and User Experience teams. As a senior-level software product strategist with over 25 years of experience, she brings an extensive track record of product launches and go-to-market plans for subscription-based, SaaS models and traditional software. Her proven expertise includes product management, product development and broad experience in sales, marketing, business development, and M&A. Maureen recently served as Vice President, Commercial Product Management, and Product Marketing for Kofax and has held product leadership roles at Flexera and Everspring.

Shayla Foley

Vice President, Marketing

Shayla Foley is the Vice President of Marketing at Yello, responsible for all candidate and B2B marketing, including growing and nurturing the WayUp candidate database, employer branding, and customer first marketing & storytelling. Shayla is obsessed with helping companies find the best talent while also helping students and recent graduates find their dream job. Shayla is a marketing leader with 12+ years leading and growing high performance marketing teams. Prior to Yello, Shayla held Senior Marketing leadership roles at various e-commerce brands and digital marketing agencies. She graduated from Iona University with a BA in Marketing.

Maureen Garcia

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Maureen Garcia is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial management. Maureen joined Yello in 2021 as VP of Finance and Controller. Maureen has over 25 years of experience building and leading finance teams in companies with significant operating scale. She has played a key role in numerous acquisitions building and restructuring best in class accounting organizations and financial systems. Prior to Yello, Maureen spent ten years as Controller at Syndigo for ten years and most recently as VP of Financial Operations at Nitel.

Jen Meza

SVP of People

Jen Meza is the SVP of People at Yello and is responsible for human resources. She specializes in talent acquisition and retention of top-tier talent to support Yello’s mission to help recruiting teams love their work. Prior to Yello, Jen spent six years at an innovation lab in Los Angeles, scaling multiple spinouts in diverse industries from social gaming to native advertising. Before her venture into human resources, Jen worked as a professional opera singer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Music from Syracuse University with a Masters in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
