Our People Matter
Our technology helps recruiters hire the next generation of talent
Yello helps the world’s largest brands find and hire their future leaders. We know people matter, it’s why we take such great pride in our employees. Our people are genuine, thoughtful and committed to a common cause – getting intelligence and automation in the hands of recruiting teams so they can focus on people instead of paperwork and administration.
So, what type of people work at Yello?
People who like to celebrate
Every week the entire Yello team gathers to celebrate birthdays, complete with the Yello birthday song, a funny hat, and special catered snacks. Not a month goes by without a celebration: from March Madness to bake-offs, costume contests, happy hour drinks, and more! Whether it’s in person or virtually, we stay connected.

People who like to recognize achievement

RECSY’s
Think the Dundie’s, but more Yello-y. Everyone gets an award! You could be the next Walking Jukebox or King of GIFs.

Living our values
Every quarter, employees choose a “Living Our Values” winner who embodies one of Yello’s 6 Core Values

Founders’ and
Presidents Clubs
Our annual trip to escape Chicago winter includes winners of our MVP, Rookie of the Year & Growth Awards, and quota-carrying employees who exceeded their quotas.
People who believe it’s important to be their authentic selves
Yello Together is our communities within Yello that come together around a common background or passion. Employees create these groups to connect, support, educate, and learn about each other.

People who like to learn
Every Thursday is Lunch & Learn. That means that you get to listen to your colleagues talk about their topic of choice. Past topics have included accessibility, a history of iOS development, mental health awareness & making balloon animals.
We’re proud to be named to Built In Chicago’s Best Places to Work list for the 4th year in a row.

FAQs
Indeed we are! We have a small, but mighty, recruiting team. Every application is carefully reviewed by our recruiters and hiring managers. As soon as we’ve had a chance to review your materials (which can sometimes take a few weeks based on volume of applications for any given role), we’ll reach out to you to give you an update on your status — good news or bad news, everyone will hear back from us. If it’s good news, we’ll get you scheduled for a phone screen with a recruiter.
We’re sorry about that. While we aim to try to get back to everyone within two weeks, we occasionally have an overwhelming amount of applications for some roles. We review applications on a rolling basis and will get back to you as soon as we possibly can. (Be sure to also check your spam.)
If your qualifications have changed since you first applied for the role, please reach out to recruiting@yello.co with your updated resume.
We wish we could speak to every candidate, but we receive a lot of applications. Our recruiters work closely with hiring managers to determine best fit for their team. Sometimes it’s just about timing. Keep an eye on our job board or join our talent community for future opportunities. We’d be happy to consider you again in the future.
While we certainly understand the value of receiving feedback, unfortunately we will not be able to respond to every feedback request. Thanks in advance for understanding.
Please reach out to recruiting@yello.co, or the recruiting coordinator you’ve been in contact with, and let them know about your required accommodations. We’re happy to help!
