CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Yello, the largest end-to-end DEI and Early Talent Recruitment platform provider, today celebrates the one-year anniversary of the acquisition of WayUp, the industry-leading early-career DEI sourcing tool. This substantial expansion of Yello’s early talent recruitment platform has led to a record-breaking first half of 2022, marked by 388 percent year-over-year growth of its customer base. Since 2008, Yello has been the only solution purpose-built to support the full campus recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing to events to evaluation. Now, incorporating WayUp’s user base of nearly 7 million students and recent grads, the company saw significant growth in product and user engagement. The number of jobs posted on WayUp is up 173% year over year, and candidates have submitted a record number of job applications, up 86% from the first half of 2021.
“Our continued momentum highlights the progress in our mission to power efficient and equitable hiring for all early career candidates and recruiters’ ‘ said CEO Corey Ferengul. “While we have seen great results from the combination of Yello and WayUp we are expecting even more as campus recruiting evolves, post pandemic, into hybrid recruiting and new tools are needed.”
Highlights from Yello’s accelerated momentum include:
- WayUp <> Yello integration: The integration between Yello Enterprise and WayUp unlocks key efficiencies for campus recruiters in advance of the fall recruiting season — including the ability to create and promote events and open positions across both platforms. Customers who leverage the power of both Yello Enterprise and WayUp will be able to source qualified and diverse candidates for their opportunities in WayUp, with all candidate information and analytics flowing back to their system-of-record: Yello Enterprise.
- Continued commitment to DEI: Seventy-one percent of the WayUp database is composed of underrepresented groups. In the first half of 2022, WayUp added 400k new users to the database, and remains focused on the critical importance of DEI in early talent. In the first half of 2022, new user acquisition efforts resulted in 70% more diverse candidates than the same period last year.
- New campus planning tools: Yello Enterprise and WayUp both released Campus Diversity Insights, a collection of dashboards with the student demographic data recruiters need to target schools that support diversity goals. Recruiters using the tool can take a data-driven approach to campus planning, more easily decide which schools to invest in, and better understand campus/diversity results at each school.
- Yello FedRAMP Authorization: Yello knows data security and privacy are priorities for all organizations. After years of major investments in these areas, Yello is now FedRAMP Authorized — the federal government’s gold standard for cloud software data security. Yello’s authorization makes it faster and easier for federal agencies to leverage security authorizations, start recruiting top talent, and ensure their data is protected.
“Today’s competitive campus recruiting landscape requires employers to strategically select the tools that empower them to engage with top talent efficiently whether recruiting in-person or virtually,” said Co-Founder Dan Bartfield. “Yello offers an unmatched recruiting experience enabling busy recruiters to hire quality candidates faster. Our accelerating growth affirms the value our product delivers to campus recruiting teams.”
In the second half of 2022 and beyond, Yello will focus on accelerating new logo acquisitions, strengthening existing customer relationships, and keeping pace with new user growth. The company will leverage its deep industry expertise to guide campus recruiting teams through a return to on-campus recruitment this fall. To learn more about Yello, visit https://yello.co/.
